From the Auditorium we can distil our performance sets digitally onto CD.  Due to the simple mic setup this would be a live, 1 shot (right, or wrong) mix and  The recording is done with quality remote mics which provide a sense of space, and 2 on stage mics set up to suit the Musicians.  If we address the main instrument mic's we can capture a reasonable live ambience performance record. The direct mic's are a general capture on stage to record the instruments and works well....but overall betwixt the 4 sources caught in a stereo pair and then post performance processing using In Logic & Pro-Tools we can achieve a professionally finished recording ready for distribution complete with artwork.

We can lay on first class multi-track digital audio recording equipment by arrangement.
Logic7, Pro-Tools, Control surfaces, outboard & plug-ins to die for etc

Observations on Jake Kirkpatrick's Sound Booth Expertise:-

Paul Vernon Chester - Guitarist
Just to let you know how delighted we are with the final product. As anticipated the recording quality is top notch and the packaging looks great.  Love the colour scheme. Nick's guitar works well for the tweaked volume. Notwithstanding the CD works really well. Many thanks for your hard work Jake and I feel we have a recording that truly reflects our performance ideals. It's only when you hear the audience at the end of each track you realise this is a live recording! I feel the same tension that I felt at the gig!
Very well done mate, you know your stuff. - Paul.
Mick Foster's - Saxophonist
The CD recording sounds great - you've done a really good job on it and we have a polished, very useable document of the evening. Thank you for spending so much time on it. Everything is really clear, and it has a nice live (but full and mellow) quality about it.  I certainly hope to come up to Thame again with the Band, and would certainly liaise with you beforehand so we could sort out a multi-track recording. - Mick
Andy Hague - Trumpet & Flugel
Just to say thanks for the recording - I was amazed at how good the sound and balance were given the circumstances.  To my relief I also enjoyed the music - I think maybe it took most of the first half for the combination of players to get used to each other, but there is certainly some good stuff going on in the second half you have sent. - Andy

Give Jake the chance and he will do a full Digital Multi-track commercial quality recording of your Live Gig in these near perfect surroundings using state of the art equipment.

Commercial CD Covers & Booklets Designed and Perfected

For Hire: 300 watt PA with fold-back approximately £100 per night to cover the grief & effort of shifting it around and setting up/working it.  Sounds GREAT - also has quality mic's, leads and stands.  Recordings can also be made wherever.
