Musicians

Boulou & Elios Ferre now have a website at long last. They are now also endorsing Manouche Guitars in Europe with some interesting photos on MG website. I have always admired the playing of these guys, who are such an intrinsic, but highly individual, part of the Django legacy. Both are Gypsy aristocrats with such a deep understanding of the music. Their work embraces so many areas musically and is orchestral and profound.  Who else had uncles called Baro and Sarane and a father named Matelo of whom both Coltrane and The Duke admired their playing. Praise indeed! - Paul Vernon Chester

Matcho Winterstein
was playing concerts at the age of 12.  His music is authentic, generous and engaging with incredible power, swing and velocity.  Matcho has now become a magnificent representative of the Jazz Manouche players of Eastern France and is often seen teamed up with Moreno.
